Connecting people to Christ,
Kingdom, and Community

CON·VER·GENT

“to meet at a point, or incline towards one another,
coming closer together, especially in characteristics or ideas.”

OUR VISION

We live to bring Jesus’s Kingdom to the City of Owosso.

That is to say, we labor to bring Jesus’s rescue, his reign, and his blessing to our city! We live to see the day when it is uncommon to walk down the streets of Owosso and not hear everyone speaking of the goodness of God; where sorrow and sadness are replaced with joy and gladness, and where strife and division are given over to peace and unity!

“Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” – Matthew 6:9-10

OUR MISSION

We exist to connect the people to Christ, Kingdom, and Community.

  • KNOWING CHRIST

  • GROWING HIS KINGDOM
  • ENGAGING IN COMMUNITY

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

OUR DISTINCTIVES

The redemptive message of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our beliefs, actions, and relationships.

Our vision to bring Jesus’s Kingdom to Owosso serves as the compass that guides our decisions, budgets, and ministries.

We prioritize the collective mission of spreading the gospel, making disciples, and growing the Kingdom over building our own brand.

Our church is led by team of elders who work together — equal in authority, distinct in gifting — to shepherd the flock God has entrusted to us.

We are committed to systematically and contextually presenting the truths of Scripture, fostering a deep understanding of the Bible and its application to everyday life.

LAST SUNDAY’S SERMON

Dan Dameron - April 20, 2025

Take Heart: In A World of Trouble, Hope Has Risen

Life is messy and behind every smile, there’s a struggle. Whether it’s anxiety, grief, broken relationships, financial stress, or just the crushing weight of everyday life — we all face encounter trouble. But the resurrection of Jesus changes how we face it! In this sermon, Pastor Dan unpacks John 16:33 helping us to see that while tribulation is inevitable in this life because of sin, peace has been made possible through Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. But even more than that, we can actually rejoice in our sufferings because in rising from the grave, Jesus secured our victory! The resurrection isn’t just a future promise — it’s present power. Because Jesus has overcome the world, we can take heart in the middle of whatever we’re facing. No matter your story, your burdens, or your doubts — this message will meet you right where you are and point you to the risen King who offers unshakable peace and the courage to move forward!
