FAQs
Wear what makes you comfortable! You can “dress up” if you want, or dress casually. We usually dress pretty casual. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe!
To ensure you’re able to find a seat, we would encourage you to plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the service you’re planning to attend begins!
Our entrance is on the south of the Armory, nearest the Shiawassee River. You will see our ‘Welcome’ flags in front of our entrance, as well as our greeters!
Yes! We have a nursery for your infants and toddlers as well as a unique worship experience for children ages 4-8 during our 11am Worship Gathering — Convergent Kids!
Every Sunday our little ones sing fun songs about who God is and all that he has done, receive teaching from the Bible, and have an activity that ties it all together. There is a check-in process to ensure your child’s safety! While in the classroom, your child will be loved by our trained teachers and have the opportunity connect with other kids their age.
That being said, we also LOVE having our children in service with us — so the decision is completely up to you!
Absolutely not! You are our guest our goal is for you to feel comfortable when you attend.
While we primarily preach from the English Standard Version (ESV), that’s simply a preference for us — not a conviction. We are firm believers that the “best” translation of the Bible is the one you will actually read!
We utilize a variety of new songs, old songs, and even some original ones! And on any given Sunday our band is comprised of an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keys, bass, and percussion/drums.
But for us, it’s not about the style of music or kinds of songs being sung; these are simply tools to remind our hearts of who God is and all that He has done. Our worship is a response to this. Our singular aim is the glory of Jesus!

TESTIMONIALS

“Such a wonderful place! It’s one thing to go to church on Sunday, it’s another to be greeted with love and know you will hear the gospel preached while you are there. I couldn’t be happier to call this church my home!”

“I love the praise and worship music, the song choices, and the band. I love the variety of people that attend, young and old, red and yellow, black and white. It makes me feel like I fit in. Both pastors preach straight from the Bible and their messages are understandable, meaningful, and applicable to my life. ”

“The pastors preach the gospel and expound the word. The church elders are focused on truth in every aspect of the worship gathering. It’s also a very welcoming and loving church.”
